A note from the President

We have laid the groundwork for Fast Forward.

While we await new capital funding, we are attacking the root cause of delays and engaging employees throughout the organization to identify solutions, create efficiencies, and help get you to your destination quickly.


We’re in close collaboration with DOT and NYPD to keep our buses moving on congested streets, and we’re redesigning routes to accommodate our riders’ changing needs.



We are transforming from the inside out. We have tasked every employee with creating this change, we are supporting them at every step, and we’ve formed an executive team to lead the way.

We've implemented policy and communications changes to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, and we are eager to meet our five-year goal to ensure you are never farther than two stations away from an accessible subway station, once funding has been secured.

Customer service

We have restructured to be customer-focused and customer-led and developed new ways to get the information you need when and where you need it.
